Role Purpose
 
The Food Production Assistant will support daily manufacturing activities to ensure consistent product quality, safe food handling, and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
 
Production & Processing
•Assist in the preparation, roasting, milling, and processing of raw materials.
•Support the production of Hausa Koko, Tom Brown, Shito, Baby Foods , and any of our products.
•Follow approved recipes, measurements, and procedures.
 
Food Safety & Hygiene
•Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation practices.
•Comply with all food safety, quality, and operational standards.
 
Packaging & Labelling
•Assist with bottling, sealing, packaging, and labeling finished products.
•Ensure accurate packaging and presentation for retail.
 
Operational Support
•Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged materials.
•Support team members to meet daily and weekly production targets.

Qualifications & Requirements
•Experience in food processing or kitchen work is an added advantage.
•Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
•Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
•Physically able to lift and move production materials.
•SHS certificate preferred but not mandatory.
•Must be reliable, honest, punctual, and hardworking.

Frequently Asked Questions

The shelf life of un-opened dry blends ( Grains and legumes mix) is 24 months. For un-opened sauces is 6 months. We recommend refrigeration our sauces upon opening and maintain little amount of oil on top always for the freshness.

There are no returns due to food safety regulations and reasons.

When your order is received, it takes 3 – 5 business days to process for shipment.

We do not currently ship internationally due the cost of duties, shipping etc., however we have our dry mix available in Ghana as well. And we’re working to have it on Amazon soon, both US and UK.

Because we’re small business we rely on USPS for our shipments due to cost effectiveness. Although you pay for UPS Ground at checkout, the shipping services vary depending on your location.
