Role Purpose

 

The Food Production Assistant will support daily manufacturing activities to ensure consistent product quality, safe food handling, and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities

 

Production & Processing

•Assist in the preparation, roasting, milling, and processing of raw materials.

•Support the production of Hausa Koko, Tom Brown, Shito, Baby Foods , and any of our products.

•Follow approved recipes, measurements, and procedures.

 

Food Safety & Hygiene

•Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation practices.

•Comply with all food safety, quality, and operational standards.

 

Packaging & Labelling

•Assist with bottling, sealing, packaging, and labeling finished products.

•Ensure accurate packaging and presentation for retail.

 

Operational Support

•Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged materials.

•Support team members to meet daily and weekly production targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

•Experience in food processing or kitchen work is an added advantage.

•Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

•Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.

•Physically able to lift and move production materials.

•SHS certificate preferred but not mandatory.

•Must be reliable, honest, punctual, and hardworking.
